We are excited to partner with local Independence business, Indy Commons. Together we will bring a new, regular series of art exhibits to downtown Independence. Indy Commons is located at 278 Main Street and is open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Work is available to view then as well as during special events during extended hours.

Our Spring Art Exhibit will have an opening reception on April 14, 6-9pm.

Join us!

This exhibit will be highlighting our instructors for our spring adult classes.

Come check out the work on display by our guest artists: Brynn Carter, Kimberlie Frielinger and Marian Scadden. We are offering more adult classes than ever before right now, come see the talent these instructors are sharing with our community.

Reception will include refreshments and is family friendly.

The Ash Creek Arts Center is incredibly grateful to the Oregon Legislature, the Oregon Cultural Trust and the Polk County  Cultural Coalition for Coronavirus Relief Fund Cultural Support funding. It has allowed us to assemble and distribute three different Free Art Packs to the Monmouth-Independence community over the last few months.

When you match your tax-deductible donation to the Ash Creek Arts Center with a matching donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust, you'll get that second donation back as a tax credit!

Here's how it works: https://vimeo.com/306297076

We believe access to and engagement with the arts is a fundamental right and that the arts are an essential cornerstone to a healthy democracy. Our goal is to serve the people of Independence and Monmouth, Oregon, and the surrounding area by offering a broad range of opportunities for all community members to enjoy and participate in the visual, literary and performing arts.
