About the Event

In a galaxy far, far away exists a planet that only YOU can imagine! Bring your planet to life by creating it!

Each participant will work with a variety of materials, including watercolor and other water based paint to create their very own planet (or planets) as well as a galaxy backdrop for their planet. We will cut out our planets and glue them to our handmade galaxy backdrop. Your imagination is the limit! This can get messy so wear clothes you wouldn't mind getting dirty.

Nelina Vargas is a student at Western Oregon University pursuing a BFA in Art and Design. In the past, she has volunteered for the Grants Pass Museum of Art assisting with the teaching of youth art classes. She believes art should be accessible to people of all ages and is honored to be a part of this workshop!

Pre-registration is not required.
