Free Art Kits for Kids!

Though we aren't ready to start holding art classes in person (for the safety of all involved), we want to continue to foster art in our community, especially during these challenging times.  We hope these art kits will give families the opportunity for some fun and creative hands-on exploration.  The kits contain 5 simple but versatile art activities, each with materials and written instructions:

Make Your Own Stamp 

Bleeding Tissue Paper Silhouette 

Foil Embossing 

"Snippety Do Dah" Zine  

Kits are intended for K-8 students.

To pick up a kit:  

Drive up (or walk up) to the Ash Creek Arts Center starting at 10:00 am on Saturday morning.  (311 S Monmouth Street in Independence)  

We will we outside to hand out kits to vehicles or walkers.  

We will be wearing masks - please wear a mask as well.  

Limit of 4 kits per family/vehicle.   

We have 50 kits to hand out on a first come, first served basis.
